Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Pope County Library is an organization of concerned citizens who work toward the betterment of Library services by supporting the objectives of the Library Board of Trustees through the volunteer commitment of time and talent.  Friends of the Pope County Library seek to improve the library by raising money for needed materials, equipment, and facilities and by conducting other activities that enhance the services provided to citizens of the community.

Meetings
The FOL Board meets the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm at Heritage Hall Next to the Pope County Library.  Please call the Russellville Library at 479-968-4368 to confirm meeting times.

All members are welcome to attend any meeting.

Friends of the Pope County Library Book Sales:

  • Held twice a year.
  • The next Book Sale will be March 8th to 10th, 2012.
  • The FOL Book Sale is the main fund raiser for the Friends.
  • Members of the Friends of the Library are asked to volunteer at the Book Sales.
  • Members are allowed to purchase books prior to the sale.
  • Memberships are $10.00 and can be purchased at the sale.
